The Albion is the perfect incentive experience or team building escape from the office. It can be hired on an exclusive basis for an overnight stay, or the meeting room by the hour.
This exciting hotel is the most ambitious, and yet somehow reassuringly similar, project from the accomplished team at fforest. It likes to be known as a ‘maritime hotel’ and has a seafaring story to tell. The painstaking nuts and bolts renovation is designed to celebrate the town’s nautical heritage, balancing contemporary comfort and style with the immersive qualities of a priceless heritage building. Fforest celebrates the places of which they are a part. They create a true sense of place and find ways to reflect its heritage, culture, language and personality. In a world of sameness fforest finds the difference.

Within only 4 months of opening, the efforts of the hotel team were rewarded with The Times and The Sunday Times naming the Albion ‘The Best Place to Stay in Wales 2023’.

On-site lounge & bar. The upstairs lounge is ideal for meetings and networking events with excellent Wi-Fi, shared refectory tables, proper coffee & homemade cakes. Catering can be arranged too.

There are plans afoot to repurpose more reclaimed timber to create a Japanese-style onsen, outdoor sauna and small spa in a woodland glade behind the Granary warehouse, ready for opening in 2025.

We celebrate the outdoors and all that is special about our corner of West Wales, with the nearby Teifi Marshes Wildlife Reserve providing a perfect breakout space for a walk. The combination of stunning locations, great food and unique accommodation underpins everything we now do.

The hotel is for adults only.
It is a small listed building and it was not possible to install a lift within the historic fabric of the building, it is therefore inaccessible to wheelchair users above the ground floor. The internal staircase has been designed for ambulant requirements.
