Cardiff Castle – one of Wales’ leading heritage venues.
A site of international historical importance and leading attraction, Cardiff Castle sits surrounded by beautiful parkland in the heart of the capital city of Wales. The castle works in partnership with Cardiff City Hall and The Mansion House to provide meeting and event planners access to a range of venue options across the capital. The Cardiff Collection are three heritage-style venues in the heart of the city.

A truly iconic and must-visit venue for any conference or meeting coming to Cardiff (Caerdydd) or region.
The castle’s enchanting fairy tale towers conceal an elaborate and splendid interior and a history spanning more than 2,000 years. Once a Roman Fort, a Norman stronghold and a Victorian Gothic Fantasy palace, Cardiff Castle has a rich and very varied history.

A range of scenic settings for special events.
The mix of architectural styles combined with the ornate interior décor combine to give the castle very visual and varied backdrops for any special conference or meeting. Consider Cardiff Castle for a special event that requires a range of staging or setting options.

Meeting spaces with a genuine “wow” factor.
It is not often that you get the opportunity to hire a real castle for your meeting or event. Consider The Banqueting Hall or The Undercroft to host your own Welsh Banquet (complete with singing of course) for a social event or for a more formal dinner. Mix old with new and take attendees to The Visitor Centre, a contemporary space with the added bonus of glorious outdoor green space.

A history of prestige events.
With flexible indoor and outdoor spaces, Cardiff Castle can be used alongside venues in The Cardiff Collection to accommodate larger numbers and multiple groups. The Banqueting Hall and The Undercroft can each seat 120 for a formal dinner or Welsh Banquet. Past events hosted at the Castle include a NATO Dinner for World Leaders, A Welcome to Wales Ryder Cup 2010 dinner and a gala reception for a Heineken Cup Final tournament.

The castle has also been used to hosting music events.
Internationally renown artists such as Green Day, Wales' own Welsh-band Stereophonics and the legendary Sir Tom Jones have all performed in the Castle grounds.
