Angela Gray's Cookery School

Food writer and broadcaster, Angela Gray opened her Cookery School in 2010 to offer relaxed and informal cookery courses set in the heart of the Vale of Glamorganshire countryside. Angela and her team offer a wide range of courses and events from Masterclasses, Skill Builders and One-Day Courses, to Corporate, Bespoke and Demonstration events.
The focus is on teaching skills, growing culinary confidence, having fun and promoting local ingredients, producers and Wales. Angela integrates her global food knowledge and expertise from her travels working as a chef both privately and in restaurants/hotels and the result is a smorgasbord of cuisines to choose from.
Seasonality is also important and that is reflected in the menus cooked on the courses and demonstrated at the events.

Last year Angela launched her Gourmet BBQ Grill Courses. These have been a huge hit and cover everything you need to know about barbecuing from brining, low and slow cooking to smoking and baking!
Guests can immerse themselves fully in the wonderful culinary world as they create a fabulous feast under Angela's expert guidance. The kitchen is inspiring, designed by Sigma3 Kitchen and equipped with all mod cons including Neff Slide and Hide ovens, Bosch appliances, Analon Pans and Flint and Flame knives.
Angela has written a range of 5 seasonal cookery books published by Graffeg with photographs by Huw Jones. These include a catalogue of many dishes that reflect a life in the food world and include a special festive edition.
In 2020 the School will celebrate 10 fabulous years of welcoming guests from near and far with a range of special events. Details will become available in November 2019.
