Beach-front university campus venue.
Swansea University spans two sites at each end of Swansea’s waterfront parks. Singleton Park Campus is set in mature parkland and botanical gardens overlooking Swansea beach. Bay Campus, cited as a 'global exemplar', is located on the beach on the eastern approach to Swansea (Abertawe).
Twin-site university campus with great choice of meeting and event spaces and access to the beach.
A multi-site university campus, Swansea University has impressive meeting and event credentials. Set out across two separate campus sites, the range of meeting and event spaces give planners real choice in setting out their events.
An eclectic mix of old and brand-new meeting and event spaces to choose from.
Work with the very experienced in-house team to arrive at the best combination for your meeting or event. Residential meetings will benefit from the choice of rooms. Consider the Management Building as a stand-alone or alongside The Great Hall for a larger meeting.
Great value for larger groups.
In July and August, the University becomes an affordable first option for larger residential groups. Attendees will enjoy access to Swansea and meeting and event planners looking to take residential groups off-site should consider The National Waterfront Museum, The Gower National Landscape (formerly AONB), Wind Street, Swansea Market and the Mumbles Mile for out of conference experiences.
The flagship £32million Great Hall complex on the Bay Campus houses three large lecture theatres, a range of versatile flat floor spaces and the Sir Stanley Clarke Auditorium. This 700-seater auditorium has impressive acoustics and state-of-the-art audio-visual technology.
Ninth out of 150 institutions in the University Green League, Swansea University is one of the greenest universities in the UK.
The University beat stiff competition to win the Santander Cycles University Challenge and the scheme has helped thousands of students, locals and tourists to ride confidently around the city and has recorded 25,000 rentals to date.
