Easily accessible from the north west and London.
Wrexham Glyndŵr University is a multi-site campus, set across Wrexham, Northop and St Asaph, each with a variety of venues and facilities. All three university campuses are set along the North Wales border giving easy access to Manchester and Liverpool – with London in under three hours.
The three campuses offer differing styles – choose the one that aligns to your event or mix the three for added interest.
Wrexham with its industrial history and 880 seat William Aston Hall, the innovative sustainable building in the city of St Asaph or the rural 92-acre site at Northop on the North Wales coast.
A range of versatile and flexible spaces coupled with state-of-the-art facilities in convenient locations across North Wales.
All three locations each have their own appeal and the in-house events team expertly deliver a range of events seamlessly. Laboratories, an art gallery, and the Centre for the Creative Industries – which is home of the BBC in North Wales – blend with versatile blank canvas style meeting and events spaces catering for every possibility.
An ideal choice for those not wanting the ‘standard’ city centre location.
Any one of the three campus options offer multiple flexible spaces, plentiful accommodation during the summer months and state-of-the-art technology. Where possible their food and beverage offering is sourced locally.
An opportunity to explore what North Wales has to offer.
William Aston Hall is a fully operating tiered theatre with full stage facilities for up to 880 or can be adapted for standing concerts and exhibitions. The Catrin Finch Centre is a purpose-built conference and performance centre ideal for events of up to 230 with unparalleled high-tech audio and visual technology.
The Wrexham campus regularly plays host to great names in comedy such as Kevin Bridges, Alan Davies and Jimmy Carr, as well as ballets, shows, and bands like Feeder and the Levellers.
The second world war greatly influenced the design and with the prospect of future conflict, a nuclear bunker was built underneath the building and all of the corridors and doors are designed so that it can be turned into a hospital.
